The PostgreSQL Global Development Group has set the schedule for version 9.2 development. This schedule was determined at the Developers' Meeting in Ottawa, Cananda last week.

The CommitFest and development schedule is as follows:

CommitFest 1: June 15, 2011 to July 14, 2011
CommitFest 2: September 15, 2011 to October 14, 2011
CommitFest 3: November 15, 2011 to December 14, 2011
CommitFest 4: January 15, 2012 to February 14, 2012
Beta: April 2012 (tentative)

Given that the first CommitFest is only a couple of weeks away, if you are working on a patch for version 9.2, please post it to the CommitFest Application as soon as possible, following the instructions athttp://wiki.postgresql.org/wiki/Submitting_a_Patch. Patches submitted after June 15th will be deferred to CommitFest 2.

We are also looking for reviewers for the first CommitFest. If you are available to review patch submissions, please contact the PostgreSQL developers on the pgsql-hackers list or the pgsql-rrreviewers list.
